As someone who primarily documents people, their relationships, and the natural landscapes around them, I consider myself
And as someone who has experienced much personal change + evolution, photographs are one of the only things I've found that allow me to truly relive a moment and remember what it was like in that slice in my life.
After years have passed, people have passed, and we have changed, we can still know a moment when we look back at a photograph.

Even if that moment isn't a wedding or outwardly visible milestone, this is what our existence is made up of: transitory moments of beauty, emotion, and presence.
To make this an equal exchange, I show up fully for my clients, crafting a safe space for them to be uplifted in, allowing deep connection, and sharing just as deeply with them.
So let me start this exchange of ours by inviting you into my life…
Like many others, my life was turned upside-down when the COVID pandemic hit. I was witnessing the fragility of our systems, the resilience of the natural world, and the reality that life is short and our best-laid plans can simply dissipate. That realization led me on a journey where I eventually left my stable job as a staff photographer at a university, my husband and I packed up our house, went backpacking in Scotland for two months, and moved to a regenerative ranch in Texas, where I now live.
Though every lifestyle has it ups and downs, I wouldn't trade mine for the world. I'm surrounded by nature, I get to document and connect with people, and I get to create art through my lens.
In my life, my work, creativity, passion, and love for people is interwoven into one vibrant, life-giving tapestry. Photography is not simply a job for me.
